Based in the Greater Boston area, Dena Skeadas is a seasoned media professional in the hospitality, food & beverage, travel and lifestyle space with over a decade of industry experience from leading PR agencies in New York City. Born into a Greek restaurant family, she has a passion for hospitality and Hellenic brands, and specializes in building critical media relationships and developing & executing highly creative PR strategies for clients who matter.
In her previous roles, Dena has led and been an integral part of multi-faceted PR campaigns for brands including Airbnb, American Express, Belvedere Vodka, Beyond Meat, Champagne Bollinger, Destination Hotels, Drew Barrymore’s Beautiful Kitchenware, Omni Hotels & Resorts, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt & much more.
Dena’s Greek Orthodox faith and Hellenic roots are an important part of her identity. Her father’s family originates from Sparta and her mother’s family originates from Ikaria. Growing up, Dena was actively involved with her local parish’s GOYA youth group and served as a counselor at Camp Saint Paul (Litchfield, CT) and Ionian Village (Peloponnese, Greece) for several years. In her spare time, Dena volunteers as the President of the New England Kountouma Chapter for the Pan-Icarian Brotherhood of America, overseeing Ikarians located in Northern Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Dena also volunteers as a PR Board Member for Hellenic Boston Businesses Unite (HBBU), offering her PR services to better unite Boston-based Greek professionals and organizations.
Dena’s personal and professional life centers around advancing Hellenic brands. Through Dena Public Relations, she aims to continue advancing that mission on a larger and more impactful scale.
